T-WIN TW-MD1101

T-WIN TW-MD1101 works with Fleetrift. See it live on your phone and on any computer.

Setup family: GPS103, used by Coban TK103 and its copies.

Switch it to Fleetrift

About ten minutes. You need the tracker, its SIM card and your phone.

  1. 01

    Put a data SIM in the tracker

    Use a SIM with data and no PIN. Safaricom and Airtel Kenya both work. Switch the tracker on outdoors.

  2. 02

    Set the data network

    Send this SMS from your phone to the number of the SIM in the tracker. Use the one for your SIM's network.

    Where this comes from

    Some trackers set this by themselves. If yours already reports to another server, you can skip this step.

  3. 03

    Point it at Fleetrift

    Send this SMS to the same number.

    Not yet confirmed from the maker's manual for a host name here. The manual shows a numeric server address only, and a unit may refuse a name. Send afterwards. If it does not show our address, contact us and we will give you the numeric one for your region.

    Send them one at a time and copy each one exactly as shown. The status reply goes to an authorised number: calling the tracker ten times from your phone makes it one.

  4. 04

    Switch on the GPRS link

    The tracker's reply: GPRS ok!

    The maker's manual says a new unit starts in SMS mode, so this message is needed.
