Three kinds of owner
All three are real. The map is the same.
You ride it yourself
Your own bike or tuk-tuk. See it on the map, and get an alert if it moves while it is parked.
You rent it out to riders
An owner with a few bikes or many. You see which are out today, which are parked, and which have not moved in a long time.
You sell it on credit
A lender or a group with bikes out on credit. You see that each one is where it should be, and you decide how to follow up with the rider.
A day with it
From the first ride to the last
You do not watch the map all day. You look when you want to know.
Morning
The riders go out. You open the map and see which of your bikes are moving and which are still parked.
Midday
One bike has not moved since the morning. You can see it, and call the rider before the day is lost.
Evening
The bikes come back, and you see each one arrive. Seeing who has handed over the day's money is part of Lite, and it is still being built.
Night
The bikes are parked. If one starts to move, you get an alert in the app and by email.
A bike out of its area
On Track, you mark the area a bike should work in as a place, and you are told when one leaves it.
What you get
The plans that fit
Lite takes any kind of asset, bikes and tuk-tuks included. Prices are per asset a month.
Lite
KES 250 per asset a month
For owners who rent out or lend, and for a bike that earns for a business. Ten bikes cost KES 2,500 a month.
Read about LiteTrack
KES 600 per asset a month
Adds history and replay, stops and reports, for an owner who wants to see where a bike went last week.
Read about Track
A very large fleet can ask for a plan made for it, with a price and terms agreed with you.
Prices are in Kenya shillings, for each asset each month. A second tracker on the same asset, as a backup, costs nothing extra.
Fuel adds up
A bike that is out all day spends on fuel every day. The pricing page works out what tracking could save for ten bikes, from Kenyan distances and pump prices. It is an estimate, never a promise.
Still being built
What is not ready yet
The live map and the parked alert work today. These parts are not ready.
- Daily remittance: seeing who has handed over the day's money, and who is behind. It is on Lite and is still being built.
- Stopping the engine when a bike is parked, on Lite, is still being built.
- Reports and the cash book, on Track, are still being built.
Questions
- Is it free for my own boda boda?
- Free is for personal use, up to 3 trackers. When a bike is used for a business, or rented out, it is on a paid plan. Lite is the cheapest, at KES 250 per asset a month.
- I rent out bikes. Can I see who has paid?
- Daily remittance for riders is still being built. Today you see where each bike is, and which are parked or out.
- Can I stop a bike from starting?
- Stopping the engine, only while the bike is parked, is still being built. It will need a tracker that is wired for it.
- Do I need a new tracker?
- Not if yours is on the list. Check your tracker. A second tracker on the same bike, as a backup, costs nothing extra.
